CGD will host a panel discussion with representatives of U.S. Government agencies involved in preparations ahead of the United Nations Summit on Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs). Panelists will share their agencies' perspectives on the upcoming summit and how past and future U.S. support contributes to global NCD control goals. They will also discuss a recent CGD brief that outlines five no- or low-cost actions the U.S. can take to reduce NCD burden in developing countries and maintain its commitment to improving global health.
