Climate Change Transparency, Integrating Climate Change Into Development Assistance

Darius Nassiry was a visiting fellow at the Center for Global Development. His work at the Center focused on climate change, including financing climate change mitigation and adaptation, as well as supporting CGD’s initiatives on climate change transparency, integrating climate change into foreign assistance and developing opportunities for climate change investment. Before joining CGD, Darius served as a Director at the Millennium Challenge Corporation (MCC), where he led teams responsible for program development of MCC investments in Asia and launched MCC’s initiative to address climate change in its investment programs, including carbon finance opportunities. Prior to MCC, Darius focused on corporate finance and mergers and acquisitions advice for energy and utilities companies in the U.S., UK, Europe and Japan. Earlier in his career, he served as a Foreign Service Officer in Mexico and Kenya.
