Lant Pritchett

A Non-Resident Fellow of the Center for Global Development, Lant Pritchett is Professor of the Practice of Economic Development at the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University. He also serves as the chair of the CGD Advisory Group http://www.cgdev.org/section/about/advisorygroup and in that capacity is an ex officio member of the CGD Board of Directors. Lant works as a consultant to Google.org and is a senior fellow of BREAD. He is also co-editor of the Journal of Development Economics.

Lant graduated from Brigham Young University in 1983 with a B.S. in Economics and in 1988 from MIT with a PhD in Economics.
