Dear colleague: In the April 2007 Evaluation Gap Update, we announced that a founding group of members of the International Initiative for Impact Evaluation (3IE) is taking forward implementation activities in view of launching the initiative in early 2008. One of these activities is to identify potential organizations to host 3IE. The current group of founding members is requesting Letters of Interest (LOI) from existing organizations with the capacity to provide a strong administrative base and institutional home for 3IE. Letters of interest should explain why the interested organization is an appropriate match for 3IE and how it satisfies the criteria laid out in the Request for Letters of Interest (pdf). As the pro tem convener of this group, the Center for Global Development will collect the information gained from this LOI process and will provide 3IE Member Institutions and the to-be-named Executive Director with a list of suitable potential host institutions with which to begin a selection process. If you are a member of a potential host organization or know someone who is, please refer to the LOI request for further information on the background of 3IE, the qualifications of an appropriate host institution and instructions for responding with Letters of Interest. Letters of Interest should be sent to me by email before July 15, 2007 at rlevine@cgdev.org. All submissions will be acknowledged.
Thanks and regards, Ruth Levine |
