Other U.S. PoliciesDevelopment Assistance The FY 2006 USAID budget request for Mozambique totaled $29 million, with 64% coming from the Development Assistance Fund, and 36% coming from the the Child Survival and Health Programs Fund. These funds are intended to support projects to raise rural incomes and combat HIV/AIDS.
