Jordan

Jordan was selected as eligible in the FY 2007 and FY 2008 selection rounds. It was previously selected for the Threshold Program in the 2006 selection process, and on September 12, 2006, the MCC approved a two-year, $25 million Threshold Program for Jordan. Threshold funds will be used to advance reforms developed by the Government of Jordan to broaden public participation in the political and electoral process, increase government transparency and accountability, and streamline and modernize the customs administration.
MCA Status
