Helen Keller International

Helen Keller International played an integral role in the social and economic efforts of trachoma control within Morocco’s National Blindness Control Program. As a part of the international partnership that executed the program, they implemented interventions to increase incomes and improve literacy among women. Since 1997, the incidence of trachoma in Morocco has been cut by more than 90% among children under age 10.
