Your contribution makes it possible for the Center’s researchers to devise practical, evidence-based solutions for today’s most pressing development challenges.

The United States International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) is the US government’s full-service development finance institution, with a mandate to mobilize private capital to address development challenges while advancing US foreign policy priorities. CGD has a long history of analysis aimed at strengthening US development finance tools and helped inform the blueprint for DFC. More recent analysis of DFC’s structure, guidelines, and investment opportunities has helped equip policymakers with evidence and ideas to make the most of the new institution's increased portfolio cap, equity authority, and transparency requirements.
