Bio
Drew D’Alelio is a research assistant for the US development policy team. Prior to joining CGD, he worked as the assistant to the Vice Presidents, Regional Programs, at the National Endowment for Democracy. D’Alelio holds a BA in Political Science and International Studies from Northwestern University, where he also worked as a research fellow for Prof. Richard Joseph. Previously, he held internships at the Council on Foreign Relations, Sen. Dick Durbin’s office, the Chicago Council on Global Affairs, and a microfinance group in Colombia. He has also studied in China and India.
