Sara was the program coordinator for the Tropical Forests for Climate and Development Initiative and supported the work of Frances Seymour, Michele de Nevers and Jonah Busch. Before joining CGD, Sara lived in Morocco for two and a half years as a Peace Corps volunteer where she worked on a variety of community development goals, including water access, climate change adaptation and youth development. Originally from New York, Sara has a BA in Environmental Biology and Human Rights from Columbia University. She has also interned at the Earth Institute at Columbia University, the Council on Foreign Relations, and the African Medical and Research Foundation.
