Sneha Raghavan worked with Vijaya Ramachandran and Alan Gelb. She researched legal identity and birth registration in developing countries, as well as potential development applications for biometric ID technology in various sectors such as governance, financial access and social welfare schemes. In addition, she studied foreign aid transparency and humanitarian aid delivery in post-crisis scenarios. Prior to joining CGD, Raghavan worked at the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) as a research assistant for the Defense-Industrial Initiatives Group. Originally from Singapore, Raghavan graduated from the College of William and Mary with a BA in International relations, while performing research on foreign aid transparency issues at AidData.
