Countries with highest CO2-emitting power sectors (Nature)

A recent Nature article sites CGD's new online database of over 50,000 power plants worldwide. The CARMA, or Carbon Monitoring for Action, database was designed by CGD Senior Fellow David Wheeler.

From the article:

"Australia produces more carbon dioxide per capita through electricity generation than any other nation. But the US power sector still produces the most carbon dioxide in terms of sheer volume."
