A new CGD initiative aims to incorporate into the development agenda surprise implications of demographic change in the 21st century. In a series of lectures, the initiative looks beyond the familiar topics of high population growth and family planning to consider the overlooked demographic dimensions of such issues as migration, infrastructure, finance, climate change, and more.
