Honduran President Cites CGD Report in Speech

The Honduran President, Porfirio Lobo Sosa, cited Who Are the MDG Trailblazers? A New MDG Progress Index by research fellow Ben Leo in a speech to the MDG summit at the United Nations.

From the President’s remarks: “Even if the Goals have not yet been achieved, there are very positive advances for a group of countries that, according to the Center for Global Development, includes at its head my own, along with Laos, Ethiopia, Uganda, Burkina Faso, Nepal, Cambodia and Ghana.”
