In UN Talk Birdsall Urges Monitoring of Rich-Country Commitments

CGD president Nancy Birdsall has suggested that UN secretary general Ban Ki-moon ask rich countries to report each year on progress toward meeting their commitments to support global poverty reduction. Birdsall proposed the idea last week while speaking at the UN High Level Event on progress toward the 2015 Millennium Development Goals.
