OF NOTE THIS WEEK
The 27th UNAIDS Program Coordinating Board Meeting was underway earlier this week in Geneva. At the meeting, UNAIDS Executive Director, Michel Sidibé, delivered his report, which updated the Board on UNAIDS's activities since its last meeting in June 2010. The report, which emphasizes how to get value for money in the AIDS response, presents a new strategy for UNAIDS going forward focusing on better results and improving the return on investments. The strategy was officially adopted by the Board yesterday.
