OF NOTE THIS WEEK

As part of the State Department's recently launched video program entitled "Conversations with America", Ambassador Goosby and President and CEO of the Global Health Council, Jeff Sturchio, participated yesterday in a live dialogue about PEPFAR. This candid discussion, moderated by P.J. Crowley, Assistant Secretary of State for the Bureau of Public Affairs, ranged from questions about funding levels, PEPFAR's approach to prevention efforts, as well as how PEPFAR intends to reach the most at-risk populations in its second phase. Video and a full transcript of the conversation is available here and here.
