CGD Hits the Big Time in The Simpsons' Election Coverage! (Really?)

Sunday evening's episode of The Simpsons included a cameo appearance by a fictional think tank that looks surprisingly familiar. CGD events coordinator Heather Haines, a sophisticated arbiter of popular culture references to global development, wonders if CGD just might have been the inspiration and sees a silver lining even if we were not (but then again, who else among Washington think tanks would be discussing the World Bank's lending policy towards Micronesia!).
