Under-Secretary General for Humanitarian Affairs and Emergency Relief Coordinator, Mark Lowcock, joins CGD President Masood Ahmed to discuss the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic in fragile states and refugee communities. Mr. Lowcock is responsible for the oversight of all emergencies requiring United Nations humanitarian assistance and is convening, through the Inter-Agency Standing Committee, principals from humanitarian agencies and NGOs to agree on coordinated response measures.
