Christine Mbaka is the Director of Finance at the Center for Global Development. She brings over 10 years of finance experience and spent the recent years working at nonprofits focused on policy and education. She also has experience working with start-ups and as an outsourced accountant. She has developed the financial management infrastructure for several companies, contributed to strategic and budgetary planning (including actual vs. forecast comparison), overseen financial closes and regulatory filings, and monitored grant reporting. Accuracy, transparency, compliance, sustainability, and innovation have been imperative throughout her career. She holds a degree in Business Administration and Economics.
