CGD@3: Center for Global Development; The First Three Years 2002-2004

CGD @ 3 surveys the Center for Global Development's activities and achievements from its inception in November 2001 through the end of 2004, and includes brief highlights of selected work underway in 2005. The 28-page color report begins with a description of the founding of CGD and letters from Edward W. Scott, Jr., co-founder and chairman of the board, and CGD President Nancy Birdsall. Areas of work described include the Commitment to Development Index, which ranks rich countries' policies towards development; debt and aid; trade; global health; security and weak states; and public education products such as CGD's Rich World/Poor World briefs. The report also includes research staff bios, lists of partners, publications, and funders, and a financial statement as of December 31, 2004.

Most of the information included in the report is also available in the relevant sections of the CGD web site. You can download the report in PDF or request that a paper copy be mailed to you by writing to CGD Publications Coordinator Lindsay Morgan; please be sure to include your postal address.
