For World Health Day: Three New Proven Successes

April 02, 2007

Just in time for World Health day CGD is releasing, this week, three new case studies that are part of a revised edition of the influential and inspiring case study collection, Millions Saved: Proven Successes in Global Health. CGD senior fellow Ruth Levine, who led the working group that compiled the original report, describes the three new cases: reducing child mortality through vitamin A in Nepal, preventing neural tube defects in Chile, and treating cataracts in India. The new cases and updates to the original 17 can be found in Cases in Global Health: Millions Saved published last week by Jones and Bartlett. Learn more
