OF NOTE THIS WEEK
The Global Fund released a concept note on its new grant architecture, which features a single stream of funding per principal recipient per disease. Changes will be phased in the next few years, with a focus in 2010 on consolidation into single streams of funding and improvements over the next two years to the proposals and performance management systems. The new architecture is anticipated to enable the Fund to better support a national program approach.
