OF NOTE THIS WEEK
The Board of the Global Fund announced Friday that it will launch its 10th call for proposals on May 20 to help countries continue to make progress toward the health-related Millennium Development Goals. Proposals will be based on a comprehensive needs assessment – including efforts to scale up access to key prevention services for HIV/AIDS, malaria, and TB through both public and non-public implementers.
Applicants will be able to submit proposals until August 20. The Global Fund Board is expected to approve successful applications in December at its 22nd meeting.
