Owen Ozier is a Professor in the Department of Economics at Williams College. He was previously a Senior Economist in the World Bank’s Development Research Group. He received his M.Eng. and B.S. degrees in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science and in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from MIT, and his Ph.D. in Economics from UC Berkeley. His published and current research projects include studies in Kenya, Nigeria, and Rwanda. His work focuses on education, health, and economic decisions in Sub-Saharan Africa and around the world.
