Linh Dinh is a Policy Analyst with the Global Advisory Panel on Skills (GAPS). She joins CGD after completing a Master's degree in International and Development Economics at Yale University, where her thesis combined satellite-derived data and administrative records to examine the impact of SIMBARA, Indonesia's new digital monitoring system for critical minerals industries, on mining-related deforestation. She also served as a Research Assistant at the Yale School of the Environment, contributing to a natural capital valuation initiative. Her research interests span climate, agriculture, health, and human capital in low- and middle-income countries.
