Gargee Ghosh is an executive leader with extensive global development and philanthropy experience. She is currently a Senior Fellow at the Harvard University Mossavar-Rahmani Center for Business & Government and an advisor to foundations and companies focused on inclusive growth.
Gargee spent more than a decade in leadership roles at the Gates Foundation, serving as President of Global Policy & Advocacy and a member of the executive leadership team from 2020-2026. She previously worked with McKinsey, Google.org, and the Center for Global Development. Gargee is best known for leading policy and advocacy teams to introduce complex health, agriculture, and digital innovations globally, and for her work bringing public, philanthropic, and private capital together to advance innovative finance for global development. She has overseen multimillion-dollar strategic grant portfolios, advised CEOs and governing boards on navigating global political and economic affairs, and built cross-sector coalitions to drive inclusive growth impact.
Gargee holds graduate degrees in development economics from the University of Oxford and international affairs from Georgetown University. She currently lives in Washington, D.C. with her family.
