OF NOTE THIS WEEK
Last week, Ethiopia signed a five-year partnership framework agreement with the United States government. The agreement, in line with the objectives of Ethiopia's health sector strategic plan, lays out steps to jointly expand and sustain an effective response to the HIV/AIDS epidemic in Ethiopia, Ezega reports. The pending implementation plan, which will denote the "how" of the Partnership Framework, might also provide some greater insight into the Global Health Initiative, as Ethiopia is a GHI+ country.
