Briana Yumbe is a Communications Assistant at the Center for Global Development (CGD), where she works with the digital, publications, and events teams to further the center's mission of reducing global poverty and improving lives.
Prior to joining CGD, she worked with numerous multinational non-profit organizations both in-house and at a global public relations agency. Her work in media and communications has spanned poverty alleviation, sustainable development, policy, education, women’s empowerment, and various social impact startups.
She holds a BA in Marketing and Psychology with a minor in Media and Communications and is based in Washington D.C.
