Cordelia Kenney was the Assistant Director of Strategic & Research Partnerships at the Center for Global Development. In this role, she oversaw the Center’s grant-based funding partnerships with foundations, corporations, governments, and other organizations. She worked closely with CGD’s researchers and program teams to effectively communicate CGD’s research and to identify opportunities and platforms for expanding CGD’s network of institutional partners. She also contributed to CGD’s organizational effectiveness efforts and other strategic institutional advancement initiatives.
Prior to joining CGD, she lived in Melbourne, Australia, where she researched the business case for women’s empowerment with Business and Professional Women. She has also worked on mental health and health education through positions with Planned Parenthood, the American Red Cross, and Peer Health Exchange, and holds a BA in history from Occidental College.
