Jens Engelmann supported the research of Frances Seymour, Michele de Nevers, and Jonah Busch from 2013-2015. Prior to joining CGD, Engelmann supported the work of several researchers at the University of Florida. There he assisted work that measured the impact of a development project on crop diversity in rural Ecuador, and he participated in a research initiative assessing the link between economic development and conflict intensity in Sub-Saharan Africa. Engelmann graduated from the University of Florida in 2013 with a MS in Food and Resource Economics. He has also worked for a private tutoring company, which offers large-scale tutoring sessions for college students.
