Luisa Mendoza was the programme coordinator for the sustainable development finance programme at the Center for Global Development. Before joining CGD Europe, Mendoza worked for Responsible Finance, the trade body that represents the industry working to increase access to fair and affordable finance in the UK. She coordinated the membership network and supported with communications and governance. Mendoza also worked for several years as an investment analyst and project manager in the public and non-profit sector in Colombia, focusing on impact investments, international cooperation, development banking, and finance for development.
Mendoza holds a master’s degree in Development Studies from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and BA in Finance and International Relations from the Externado University of Colombia.
