Shannon Hutchins is the Center for Global Development's Events Producer in Washington, DC. Before joining CGD, she worked in events at an international law non-profit where she designed and managed events for thousands of students and professionals abroad and in the US. In additional to a non-profit background, she had a four-year career teaching English as a foreign language teacher across Europe. Her academic degrees in the US and Belgium included history and political science, with additional studies in international relations and development.
