Thet Htar Mya Yee San is the Program Coordinator for the AI for Global Development Initiative at the Center for Global Development (CGD), where she supports the Initiative's operations, grant management and program coordination. Prior to joining CGD, Thet Htar worked as a program associate at the National Democratic Institute (NDI), where she helped manage the U.S. government-funded democracy and civic education programs in Myanmar and Cambodia. She previously served in foreign service, engaging in multilateral diplomacy and policy issues. She holds an M.A, in applied diplomacy with a concentration in international public service from DePaul University. Thet Htar is also a certified yoga instructor, teaching yoga sculpt and vinyasa flow classes at CorePower Yoga.
