Carl Benedikt Frey on Sounds Robotic: A CGD Podcast

October 21, 2019

Carl Benedikt Frey is a co-director of the Program on Technology and Employment at the Oxford Martin School. His research focuses on the transition of industrial nations to digital economies and subsequent challenges for economic growth, labor markets, and urban development. He's also the author of the forthcoming book The Technology Trap: Capital, Labor, and Power in the Age of Automation, a tale of wage stagnation and rocketing inequality from the first industrial revolution which he fears could be repeated thanks to the spread of automation and artificial intelligence today. More on those fears in this episode of Sounds Robotic.
