Annika Seiler was a policy fellow at the Center for Global Development on secondment from the Asian Development Bank.
Seiler has more than 20 years of experiences in energy and water sector reform, clean energy development and energy transition in developing countries and emerging markets. Her interest is in effective and efficient sustainable finance solutions for tackling the triple planetary crises, climate change, biodiversity loss on land and in our ocean, and pollution. Over the last 10 years, she has worked in this area for the Asian Development Bank. Before joining the Bank, she worked as a consultant and, in this capacity, advised several countries in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East on their energy sector reform programs. She holds degrees from Freie Universität Berlin, Harvard Kennedy School of Government, Cambridge University, and Xiamen University.
