Steven Goldfinch is a policy fellow at the Center for Global Development on secondment from the Asian Development Bank. Goldfinch has more than 15 years of experience as a development practitioner working with countries in the Global South on sustainable development. His areas of interest include disaster risk management, recovery and reconstruction post-disaster, and development finance. He has a particular interest in disaster displacement, having led ADB’s engagement in this topic. He has previously worked with the United Nations in Bangladesh, Uganda, and at the Secretariat in New York. Goldfinch holds a Master’s in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of Sydney, and undergraduate degrees in Political Science and Asian Studies.
