Christian Meyer was a research associate at the Center for Global Development, working with Nancy Birdsall and Alan Gelb. His work focused on poverty and inequality in Latin America, the emergence of a new global middle class, private-sector development in Africa, and global governance.
Meyer is currently a Postdoctoral Prize Research Fellow at Nuffield College and the Department of Economics at the University of Oxford. His research interest lies at the intersection of development, labor, and behavioral economics. Before joining the University of Oxford, he worked with the World Bank in operations and research.
