Hannah Brown joined CGD in June 2020 and supported CGD president Masood Ahmed's research on the future of international development. She earned her MA in International Economics and Finance from the Brandeis International Business School and her BA in Economics and International and Global Studies at Brandeis University.
Prior to joining CGD, Brown worked as a research assistant for the Applied Economics Clinic where she conducted research on and analysis of energy markets, utility regulation, and energy policy. She also interned at the Boston Planning & Development Agency and the World Food Programme in Beijing. Her research interests include equitable economic growth, sustainability, and development finance.
