Mariel Lumibao-Bautista is an Operations Assistant with the Operations team at the Center for Global Development. Prior to joining CGD, she worked as a history researcher for the Armed Forces of the Philippines and as a researcher for Philippine Veterans Affairs Office and Bombs Away, B.V. in the Netherlands. While working with these institutions, she focused her research on military operations in the Pacific and Europe during World War II.
Lumibao-Bautista holds a Bachelor’s degree in Library and Information Science from the University of the Philippines Diliman.
