Samuel Pleeck

Samuel Pleeck joined CGD in September 2020 and supported the Europe program as a research associate. Prior to joining CGD, Samuel worked for the European Commission (DG DEVCO) on European development policy and finance, as well as FMO, the Dutch Development Bank. He also interned for the Development Co-operation Directorate of the OECD in Paris and for the UNDP DRC office in Kinshasa. Samuel holds a BA in European studies from Maastricht University and a double master’s degree in public policy from the Hertie School of Governance and Bocconi University.
