Sarah Allen was the assistant director, digital communications at the Center for Global Development. She oversaw the digital team within the larger communication team, and was responsible for aligning strategy across web, social, email, and multimedia. In her previous role at the Center, she managed digital strategy and content production across web and email. Allen previously managed a quarterly magazine and digital content production for a non-profit in laboratory science. Prior to that, she worked as a language instructor in Yamaguchi, Japan. Allen holds a BA in Spanish and Visual Media from American University’s School of Communication, with a minor in Japanese.
