Euan Ritchie

Euan Ritchie has rejoined CGD as a Senior Research Associate in the Europe programme. After leaving CGD in 2022, he became a Senior Policy Advisor at Development Initiatives, writing on range of topics relating to climate finance and UK aid policy, and then spent a year working as a freelance consultant for a range of international organisations and philanthropic foundations. Prio to his first stint at CGD, he worked as an economist in the National Bureau of Statistics in Nigeria (NBS) and, prior to that, as an assistant economist at the Office for National Statistics. Ritchie holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Nottingham and a BA in Music and Philosophy from the University of Sheffield.
