The DFI Dashboard was an interactive tool developed by the Center for Global Development to compare the lending practices and policy frameworks of nine major development finance institutions (DFIs)—including the US International Development Finance Corporation (DFC), IFC, CDC, Proparco, and others.
The dashboard was created in 2020 to address a persistent challenge: DFIs publish limited and often inconsistent data, making meaningful comparison nearly impossible. By standardizing available information on investment flows, sectoral priorities, and institutional policies, the dashboard helped bring transparency to an opaque part of the development finance system.
While the dashboard is no longer active, the data and methodology are still available as a resource for researchers, policymakers, and anyone interested in DFIs:
