Ainhoa Petri-Hidalgo is a research assistant in the Global Health Policy Program at the Center for Global Development in Washington, D.C. She holds bachelor’s degrees in Sustainable Development from Columbia University and in Economics and Society from Sciences Po Paris, with concentrations in Public Health and International Relations. Prior to joining CGD, Ainhoa worked as a research assistant at Columbia’s Mailman School of Public Health, conducting longitudinal research on the socio-economic determinants of health in Nepal, and at the Neurocognition, Early Experience, and Development Lab, where she supported studies on the effects of poverty on child cognitive development. She is passionate about advancing equitable health policy and sustainable development through evidence-based research.
