Kate Mannering is a research assistant in CGD’s Europe programme, focusing on UK development policy and finance. Prior to joining CGD, Kate worked as a research manager at the market research agency BVA BDRC, where she conducted quantitative research in the financial sector. Kate holds an MSc in International Development and Humanitarian Emergencies from the London School of Economics, where she conducted research for the Disasters Emergency Committee on localisation and partnership building. Kate also holds a BA in Philosophy from Durham University.
