Bio
Sophie Gulliver is a program associate in the global health program at CGD and has more than four years of experience in the aid and development sector. Most recently she worked for UNICEF Ethiopia in Addis Ababa as a program officer for the water, sanitation, and hygiene (WASH) team and before this she worked for CARE Australia overseeing agricultural and health projects in Papua New Guinea, a WASH project in Zimbabwe, and an agricultural project in Tanzania. Gulliver is a passionate advocate for gender equality and has a keen interest in monitoring and evaluation in which she is currently studying her Masters.
