Bright Simons on Sounds Robotic: A CGD Podcast

Bright Simons founded the mPedigree Network, which pioneered a system that allows consumers to instantly check whether their medicines are counterfeits or not by sending a free text message. He’s also vice president at the Ghanaian think tank the IMANI Center for Policy and Education. On this episode of Sounds Robotic, I spoke with Bright about the problems with the “leapfrogging” narrative of innovation in frontier markets, especially in Africa.
