Radhika Nagesh is a senior policy analyst within the Global Education team at the Center for Global Development. She is working on a portfolio of projects related to school feeding and has led the team's work on the intersection of climate change and education. She has also led a consortium of partners to develop primary research on the impacts of shocks like COVID-19 on educational outcomes. Prior to joining CGD, she worked at the UNICEF Office of Research (Innocenti) where she supported country and regional teams to embed evidence within education programme implementation in low- and middle-income countries. Nagesh has previously contributed to development research projects that used experimental and quasi-experimental methods across the fields of education, financial inclusion, health, gender, and child protection. She holds an MSc in Public Policy and Human Development with a specialization in social protection policy design from Maastricht University and UNU-MERIT in the Netherlands.
