Pakistan has been in an IMF program for decades. Not only has stabilization not been achieved, long term growth and productivity have declined. PIDE studies have shown that the demography of Pakistan requires a sustained growth acceleration to 8% for the coming 2 decases if massive youth unemployment is to be avoided.
